Most of these pieces are designed with the younger student in mind, but may also make excellent sightreading practice or even recital lollipops for more advanced students. The duet format makes them fun as well as instructive - I know that whenever I have played music
with my teachers, whether the setting was the teaching studio or the symphony orchestra,
I have learned something beyond the basic lesson material or instrumental score.
